Snickerdoodles

1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp cream of tartar

Beat butter for 30 sec. Add 1/2 the flour and cream of tartar. Mix in rest of the ingredients and chill for 1 hour. Roll into balls and roll in cinnamon sugar. Cook at 375 for 10-11 min.
